If you're driving, Natchitoches is less than five hours away from the Metropolitan Centers
of New Orleans, Dallas, Houston, and Jackson.
After you exit I-49 on La. Highway 6 East, it's a short three mile drive to the NSU
campus. The main gate is at the third traffic light; turn right and drive to the top of
the hill. Magale Hall which is located in the Creative & Performing Arts Addition
building is to your right.

Natchitoches is less than an hour from the airport at Alexandria. The
airport is convenient to I-49, and frequently airfares to Alexandria are less expensive
than to Shreveport. Car rentals are available.
