Her paternal grandparents: Milton Colson and Veronica Metoyer. Her maternal grandparents: Martin Ravare and Teresa Beridon. She was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana and is now stationed in Great Lakes, Illinois. Madison is the daughter of Tracey's sister, Teresa.
Tracey & Resa Tracey with her OLDER sister Teresa
A sisterly hug is enjoyed by the two sisters. This was their first occasion to visit since Tracey had joined the Navy. Traveling to see Tracey besides Resa, was her mother and both of her nieces, Hope & Madison. A good time was had by all during this great but brief visit.

Hope in Chicago Hope in Chicago
This is Hope, my beloved granddaughter, during our visit to Chicago. She definitely enjoyed her visit, especially the plane ride and the "partment" (our hotel room). Her Mimi even bought her a camera which seem to be her greatest thrill of the whole trip.
Hope & Tracey Hope with her Nannie
Hope enjoys finally getting to spend some time with her Nannie. Hope relayed a story to after we made our visit about how happy everyone was going to be when Tracey came home. She even acted it out for me about how Tracey was going to come through the door and everyone was going to start cherring and hugging her. Which is pretty much how it was. Tracey's Dad was especially glad to see her.
The Daddy
This is a photo of Tracey and Teresa's Dad, John Oswald Colson. This photo was taken by Joey Moran as a part of photo documentary concerned with the making of ground red pepper and file'. Joey did an interview with Oswald where he showed Joey how to string peppers and the procedure his mother used when she made pepper and file. Oswald's mother, Veronica Metoyer, was known nationwide for her pepper and file' making skills.
